Just finished this little book in one night before bed and what a read! So much detail on women throughout history across the globe and their little and almost voiceless influence on politics and society. Includes some brilliant illustrations depicting women and their place in the social hierarchy throughout time. Especially highlights the importance of androgyny among female appearance and discourse and how it has been utilised by women in positions of power, from Queen Elizabeth I to Margaret Thatcher. A very nice read, goes well in depth without over complicating or having hundreds of unnecessary pages.
